"We Will Break Out" is a modern, minimal chorale piece that incorporates a musical structure from world spiritual trance traditions filtered through the lens of American secular electronica.

The layers build steadily to a climax of declaration and a sudden abrupt ending.  It is written for SSAATTBB choir with an accompanying string instrument (piano, electric guitar, etc). ©℗2013 Vanessa Boyd

Lyrics: We will break out and fly.

This song was the most likely to cause people to walk out on my show, in the history of my performing live shows. Actually, to my knowledge, it's the only one.

In terms of music marketing, this should not be the last song on the album, if on the album at all.

Oh well.

For those same reasons, this is the last song on the album. It's a difficult song to hear, and it's about difficulty.

What about the pain?
It’s still here
I don’t know
I’m still here
